Villa Arconati
MAIN HALL OF GALLIARI BROTHERS
Giuseppe Antonio Arconati, after the supervision of the villa's enlargements, called in 1750 brothers Galliari to paint frescos in the central hall of the villa.
The three brothers Galliari had created a famous workshop and were the best stage desiners of theatre Ducale in Milan ' they painted stages for more than thirty years in that theatre.
In 1778 their stages for 'Europa Liberata' will inaugurate the famous theatre 'alla Scala'.
The main hall of Villa Arconati is a wonderful mix of colours and lights and resumes the pomp and the luxury of that time.
